Sky Vision sells Snow Monkeys, Birds

Sky’s sales arm, Sky Vision, has sold Nature’s Treasure Island, Snow Monkeys and The Secret Routes of Migratory Birds to broadcasters across the world.

Nature’s Treaure Islands, a 4x60mins series from former Sky Vision chief Carl Hall’s Warehouse 51 Productions, has gone to PBS in the US, SBS in Australia, Top TV, AMC Networks Global, Thai PBS and Nerit in Greece. It follows explorer Stewart as he bids to become the first person ever to visit all 14 British Overseas Territories.

1x60mins special Snow Monkeys, which Thirteen produced for PBS has gone to National Geographic Channels International, Rain in Italy, France Télévisions, NRK in Norway, DR in Denmark, SVT in Sweden, Austria’s Servus TV, MTV in Finland, Telewizja Polska in Poland, Thai PBS, Kanal 7 in Turkey, Iranian channel IRIB and Nerit. It looks at the exploits of a group of snow monkeys in Japan’s Shiga Highlands.

Finally, The Secret Routes of Migratory Birds, another 1x60mins doc this time from Boreales for France Télévisions has sold to Blue Ant Media in Canada, Servus TV, AMC Networks in Hungary, Telewizja Polska, Al Rayan in Dubai, IRIB and Nerit.
