Modern Family, Homeland head to Presto TV
A deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution has handed Australian SVOD platform Presto TV US shows such as Modern Family and Homeland (pictured).
The first four seasons of ABC sitcom Modern Family launch on the Foxtel- and Seven Network-owned platform immediately, with the fifth following later this year.
Also included in the deal are Showtime spy drama Homeland, biker drama Sons of Anarchy, plus American Horror Story, The Americans, Glee and Louie C.K. comedy Louie.
The news comes soon after Australian regulators okayed Seven’s participation in the Presto joint venture, and just days before Netflix launches in the territory.
