Ovation’s Young Marvels to debut at MIPCOM

Young_Marvels_Charlie-ZandiehOvation’s gifted kids series Young Marvels will launch internationally at MIPCOM.

US indie Tremendous! Entertainment makes the series for arts and culture cable net Ovation, which gave it its debut this summer.

Shine is handling international sales and will launch it at the market.

The series follows child prodigies and their families as they balance nurturing their talents and preserving the semblance of a normal childhood.

The youngsters’ talents span several areas, with examples including 12-year-old cellist (pictured), a 14-year-old ballet dancer and a 13-year-old blind musician and composer.

Shine and Ovation worked together on another of the cable net’s originals, A Chance to Dance, which Shine International distributed.

“We are thrilled to be working with Ovation again on this great series,” said Tania Jacobson, senior VP Sales, Shine International. “I know that audiences around the world will want to follow these inspiring youngsters as they pursue their dreams.”
