Foothill makes The Cut for MIPJunior

The-CutFoothill Entertainment is launching BBC drama The Cut at MIPJunior.

The distributor sells Content Television’s 1,600-episode kids and teen catalogue and will screen The Cut, which went out on BBC Two, at MIPJunior.

The teen-skewing drama, which follows a group of youngsters and ran three series, went out on the linear channel as online shorts on BBC Switch.

Foothill’s other Content titles for the market include tween drama Young Dracula, Even Stevens, and 100 Deeds For Eddie McDowd.

“We are excited to be in Cannes once again with this great programming from Content,” said Foothill President Jo Kavanagh-Payne. “With its combination of high end kids drama and animation, it is a perfect compliment to our existing library.”
