Little Airplace preps P.King Duckling
US kids TV specialist Little Airplane Productions and Chinese producer UYoung are teaming to launch an animated older-preschool series in Cannes.
P.King Duckling will launch at MIPJunior as a 52x11mins comedy about an intrepid but slightly hapless duck.
Little Airplane founder Josh Selig created the show, which marks the latest example of his company working with Asian coproduction partners. Little Airplane coproduced Super Wings!, with South Korea’s FunnyFlux Entertainment and China’s QianQi Animation.
“Little Airplane Productions is delighted to be teaming up with UYoung for this historic US/China collaboration,” said Selig. “P.King Duckling is a very funny character that we believe will appeal equally to children in Asia, Europe and North America. We are very excited to be sharing this new project with the international broadcast community.”
