MIPTV 2014: DCD warms up Popkorn factual

DCD Rights is heading to Cannes with new factual programming from UK-based indie Popkorn Television.

Among the five new titles are Channel 5 doc The Lost Orphan: A Home for Mirela (pictured) and My Violent Child, which is in production. London: The Inside Story, Motorway Madness and The Lost Orphan: Mirela’s Story are also included.

“There is strong demand in the international marketplace for intelligent and high-quality documentaries for primetime schedules and we’re looking forward to showcasing this exciting slate of titles at MIPTV in April.”

Earlier today, DCD Rights parent said its sales arm was offsetting a “slowdown” in television production.
