Discovery takes New World docs to MIPCOM

Discovery Enterprises International has picked up seven feature-length documentaries from New World Distribution.

Under terms of the agreement, Discovery’s global commercial arm DEI gets rights to sell first window options to broadcasters.

Included in the deal are The Cold War and Beyond,  A Deeper Shade of Blue, Just Like Us, Chasing Rainbows, Bboy for Life, Running Dry and Morenita.

“These exceptional films are a natural fit for DEI’s product catalogue, and we look forward to sharing them with our clients and viewers around the world,” said Elliot Wagner, VP, DEI.
