Dori Media brings The Village to market

DMG_The-Village-with-logoDori Media will launch a new drama series at MIPCOM, Enigma. The daily drama follows a struggling comic strip artist who sets out to find his childhood sweetheart.

Dori’s other new offerings for the market include reality series The Village, in which families are removed from everyday life and have to build a new settlement and community. The families compete against each other to win the overall prize and also compete to win rewards for the rest of the village.

The series is being made by Abot Barkai Productions for Israeli broadcaster Channel 10, which will launch it this month.

Other shows on the MIPCOM slate include a pair of gameshows. The Invisible Man tasks contestants with identifying a celebrity guest without communicating with them. Duel Games has randomly selected contestants taking part in a range of head to heads with each other.

There will also be second seasons of crime drama New York and En Terapia, an adaptation of the format Be Tipul (remade in the US as In Treatment).
