9 Story Entertainment has shopped its animated preschool series, Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood (pictured) to a host of broadcasters ahead of the show being one of its key titles for the MIPCOM.
Disney Latin America, the ABC in Australia and Canal+ in France have all previously bought the series, which is coproduced by 9 Story Entertainment and The Fred Rogers Company.
As well as new episodes of Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood, Canada-based kids producer and distributor 9 Story is heading to MIPCOM with a slate of its own shows and third-party acquisitions.
It will have the first episodes of 52x11mins animated comedy Numb Chucks, and prescool toon series Sonny & Sky.
In Brazil the show is on Cartoon Network and it has established itself as the most-watched show for 4-to-11s and Cartoon Network Latin America will launch the series region-wide from Halloween.
There is also 26x11mins Monkey See Monkey Do, the preschool series about a monkey and his parrot friend.
“Our varied slate of new shows, combined with several important third party acquisitions, makes for our strongest Mipcom offering to date,” said Natalie Osborne, managing director of 9 Story Entertainment. “We are also bringing the largest delegation we’ve ever had and are looking forward to a successful market.”
