Giant Wheel rolls into MIPCOM

Anglo-Indian toon producer Giant Wheel Animation will debut a preschool series, Lily & Friends, in Cannes.

The 52x11mins show follows a curious little girl whose imagination leads her on a series of adventures in her garden. Clark Irving (Marvo the Wonder Chicken) will direct the series.

Giant Wheel, which recently appointed Atlantyca Entertainment to distribute 40x1mins series Taka & Maka, will be at MIPCOM for the first time this year.

The company’s London office develops IP, while the Indian arm focuses on servicing projects.

Soumyashree Mohapatra, creative director, Giant Wheel, said: “We excited to be debuting our IP Lily & Friends at MIPCOM. We have had an extremely positive reaction to the property so far and we’re confident partners from around the world will be impressed when they see the show in Cannes.”
