MIPTV News: Todd Lituchy’s New Media Vision aims to go Fame High
New Media Vision, the consultancy and distribution business run by former Disney and Viasat executive Todd Lituchy, is launching a new feature doc about an LA performing arts school at MIPTV.
Fame High is from Academy Award nominee Scott Hamilton Kennedy and follows a year at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. NMV has distribution rights outside the US.
The doc will be the centrepiece of NMV’s MIP slate, which also includes kids shows and formats.
Kids titles for the market include preschool show Snapatoonies, the animated series, which has interactive and music elements and is produced by Jordle Productions, a start-up UK producer that is run by two mums.
Fact ent shows include motoring series Test Drive, which NMV describes as ‘American Chopper meets Top Gear’. The show, originally for Finland’s MTV, has been optioned in the US.
NMV also has rights to several classic films including Glengarry Glen Ross and Death of a Salesman.
