US Cable Upfronts 2011: Food Network greenlights more Eat Street

US cable network The Food Network has commissioned a second season of street food series Eat Street and distributor Passion has closed a raft of international sales.

The first season of the 13x30mins series, which is produced by Canadian production company Paperny Films, has been picked up by Fox (Latin America), TVB (Hong Kong), Ananey (Israel), Nat Geo (India), Food Network (UK), CJ Media (Korea), ABS-CBN (Philippines), Red Media (Russia, Ukraine) and Royal Channels (Africa).

Fox (Latin America), Ananey, Royal Channels, Nat Geo (India) and Red Media have also committed to season two.

The show follows a number of gourmet street food vendors and food trucks across America.
