Two more iD staffers jump ship for Passion

Two more ex-iD Distribution employees have joined Sally Miles’ new distribution company Passion.

Emma Simpkins has signed on as director of sales. Claudia Zell has also joined Passion, as European sales and acquisitions manager, reporting to Simpkins.

Simpkins worked with Passion founder Sally Miles at iD where she was head of sales. Zell also previously worked at iD where she pushed the distributor’s business in Europe and Latin America.

Another ex-iD staffer, Carolyn Ozkoseoglu, had already joined Passion as Pacific Rim sales and acquisitions manager.

Having left DRG-backed iD at end-2007, Miles announced Passion was open for business last month. UK/US indie World of Wonder is one of the new company’s first clients and Passion represents all of its finished programming and formats.
