Genius prodco Imagine names new TV chief
Anna Culp has become the new executive VP of television at Genius producer Imagine Television.
Culp is moving from the film division at Imagine, which Hollywood director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer own.
This comes a year after LA-based Imagine left 20th Century Fox Television after receiving US$100 million from media investment house Raine Group last year.
Culp has been producing season one of National Geographic history drama Genius, which follows the life of inventor and scientist Albert Einstein. Season two is in the works.
She joined Imagine as an assistant before rising through the ranks, working on films such as A Beautiful Mind, The Da Vinci Code and Inferno, which is set in the same universe as the latter.
On the TV front, Imagine is best known as a coproducer on 24, spin-off 24: Legacy and another Fox drama, Shots Fired.
