Steinheim to build Snowman, Blanck exits
Peter Blanck is leaving Snowman Norway, with Jørgen Steinheim filling his shoes as managing director of the Red Arrow Entertainment-owned prodco.
Red Arrow said Blanck is leaving to “pursue new opportunities”. He joined the Norwegian business at its launch in 2012, having previously been at Viasat.
Steinheim takes the reins as Blanck departs, and steps up from his current CCO role. Prior to Snowman, Steinheim was a producer at Norwegian prodcos including Feelgood and Rubicon, making factual, comedy and reality shows.
“I’m clearly thrilled about the chance to lead Snowman Norway and grow the business within Red Arrow,” Steinheim said today. “I look forward to working with our very experienced head of production Dag Obert Eine.
“In a market that is rapidly changing we are ready and eager to find new formats and opportunities.”
A new CCO will be announced shortly, Red Arrow said.
Jan Frouman, chairman and CEO of Red Arrow Entertainment Group, said: “I would like to thank Peter for everything he has achieved at Snowman. He is a consummate professional and colleague, and has always been an asset to our group.
“I am also delighted that we found his successor from within the Snowman team. Jørgen is a skilled and experienced production exec and a talented creative force. I fully expect Jørgen to continue to grow Snowman’s business in Norway and around the world.”
