StudioCanal cleans up with Spotless deal
StudioCanal has shopped edgy drama series Spotless to South Africa-based pay TV platform M-Net.
Spotless follows a troubled man whose life is turned upside down when his outlaw brother crashes into his life.
It was produced by StudioCanal’s Tandem for Canal+ and picked up by NBCU-owned cable net Esquire in the US.
M-Net has picked up exclusive pay TV and streaming rights across its African footprint.
“M-Net is renowned for bringing the very best in international programming to the African continent first and we trust that our viewers will be enthralled by the compelling story and high production values of Spotless,’ said Lani Lombard, M-Net’s head of publicity.
StudioCanal has previously shopped the series to buyers including SBS.
