ITV Studios sales VP to exit

ITV Studios Global Entertainment’s north-western Europe sales boss David Wilcox is leaving the distributor, TBI has learned.

David Wilcox is to exit this summer, ITVSGE confirmed this morning. It is understood he is close to landing a role at another major international distributor.

Wilcox is currently VP, north-west EMEA at UK broadcaster ITV’s international sales arm, a role he has held since March last year, when he was promoted to oversee a new north-west EMEA team also comprising Phil Sequeria and Emily Thompson.

Prior to the promotion, he was senior sales executive for he UK, France and Scandinavia.

The news comes soon after ITVSGE lost another sales exec, Fabio Etienne-Tinchant, who joined Lionsgate International to direct distribution in Greece, Turkey, Africa, Middle-East, Spain and Portugal.

It also comes after a top-level sales restructure that saw Dan Gopal, Greg Johnson and Augustus Dulgaro all land promotions and Tobias de Graaff exit the business.
