ITV Studios poaches drama boss from NBCUniversal
ITV Studios Global Entertainment has recruited Fraser Robinson as VP, scripted acquisitions and coproductions. He joins from NBC Universal International Channels where he was director of scripted.
At ITVS GE, the international division of UK commercial broadcaster ITV, he will report to Ruth Clarke, senior VP, acquisitions.
She said: “Fraser joins us with a wealth of experience establishing and managing international dramas and coproductions. His background working with broadcasters and producers in multiple territories will be invaluable.”
Robinson is tasked with building ITVS GE’s portfolio of scripted content and coproductions.
At NBCU Robinson worked on coproduced drama series including Haven and Rookie Blue. Prior to NBCU the programming executive was director of content at Canadian specialty channel Space.
He joins ITVS in May.
