Hell on Wheels gets on board Cineflix’s Copper

Nomadic Pictures, the Canadian producer that makes hit western Hell on Wheels, has come on as a coproducer on the second season of period cop series Copper.

The show’s commissioning broadcasters, Canada’s Shaw and US cable channel BBC America, have given the second series of Copper an increased thirteen-episode order.

Nomadic will produce alongside Cineflix, which also handles international sales.

Pre-production of season two is underway and shooting starts next month.
