Beyond taking Numberjacks 2 to market

Beyond Distribution has picked up the international rights to the latest season of preschool series Numberjacks. The distributor already sells the first 45x15mins season and two specials that followed and has sold it into 40 countries.

It will now handle international sales of the upcoming 20x15mins second season. As well as TV rights, Beyond will be handling Numberjacks DVD sales.

Season two is in production and will start delivering this year. The part animation, part CGI-part live-action series, which follows ten superhero numbers that live in a sofa, was originally commissioned by UK broadcaster the BBC for its preschool CBeebies channel. Targeting three-to-five year olds, it is regularly CBeebies’ top show.

The show is made by UK indie producer Open Mind.
