Hoho plots Grid partnership

UK kids firm Hoho Entertainment has entered into a coproduction agreement with Belgium indie counterpart Grid Animation.

The pair will create 26 five-minute vlog for multimedia girls fashion brand Mimi and Bibi, which Waybuloo and Wissper creator Dan Good originated.

The shortform episodes will air on UK tween site Totally Tween, with Hoho looking to shop them to similar digital platforms and broadcasters over the summer.

Good’s new 52x7mins series Wissper, meanwhile, which airs in the UK on Channel 5’s Milkshake!, has sold to free TV channels RTL Telekids in the Netherlands, YLE in Finland, SVT in Sweden and LRT in Lithuania, as well as Polish pay channel Minimini+.
