Channel 4 orders posh removals, more pawn

Posh-PawnUK broadcaster Channel 4 has ordered Movers, Mansions and Millionaires, a new ob-doc series about high-end home removals.

UK prodco Boomerang will make the one-off, and has also secured a Channel 4 green light for a new series of Posh Pawn (pictured), about high-end pawnbroking. It will make a new 10x60mins run of the show and a Christmas special.

The third order for Boomerang from Channel 4 is Posh Pawnbroking, a 48x60mins daytime series about the pawnbroking business.

Tess Cuming, creative director, Boomerang, said: “With Posh Pawn and Posh Pawnbrokers we’ve discovered that making money from incredible objects is a national obsession and continue to be amazed at what’s coming through the shop doors.

Movers, Mansions and Millionaires takes us into another hidden world packed with jaw-dropping properties, high end client and drama.”

Boomerang is part of Twofour, which is being acquired by ITV. International rights to the abovementioned shows reside with TwoFour Rights.
