Feltheimer to join Televisa board

Lionsgate Entertainment CEO Jon Feltheimer has been nominated to joint the board of Mexican broadcast giant Grupo Televisa.

This comes after a shareholder meeting on April 29, and means Feltheimer joins other such as Televisa CEO, president and chairman Emilio Azcárraga Jean and television content chief José Antonio Bastón Patiño on the board.

“As chief executive officer of Lionsgate, [Feltheimer] has transformed that company into a leader in the film and television businesses and an industry innovator,” said Azcárraga Jean.“His deep expertise,

perspective and relationships will be incredibly valuable to Televisa and our shareholders.”
