News brief: Java’s Mobile Revolution will be televised

France’s Java Films has presold a documentary about the mobile phone’s impact on history to broadcasters in the Middle East, Belgium, Portugal and Sweden.

The Mobile Revolution has sold to MBC, RTL, TVI and UR ahead of its delivery in May.

The doc looks at how the mobile phone has impacted every aspect of modern life and influenced key moments such as the Arab Spring of 2011.
