Spain’s Imagina restructures sales division

Spanish TV and film producer and distributor Imagina is restructuring its international sales unit.

The new structure at Imagina International Sales combines content sales across TV, features, home entertainment and new media.

As part of the reorganisation, Barbora Susterova (pictured) has been promoted to sales manager, while Guillermina Ortega and María José Camacho will round out the sales team, reporting to sales director Géraldine Gonard.

Laura Miñarro, who was Imagina International’s sales manager, will move to sister production company Globomedia. Working in the producer’s international development division, she will be responsible for developing new business in the international production sector.

Globomedia is one of Spain’s largest producers and its credits include drama series The Boat and The Boarding School, which was remade in France by Marathon.

Imagina International Sales said that, following the restructure, it will maintain a presence at all of the major international TV and film markets. It has a catalogue of almost 10,000 hours of programming and around 200 titles across a variety of genres.
