Ex-Amazon exec Thomas Drachkovitch & CAA alum Jason Hafford launch Dream Bay Entertainment
Former Amazon exec Thomas Drachkovitch and one-time CAA agent Jason Hafford have officially unveiled UK-based talent agency and production firm Dream Bay Entertainment.
The firm was quietly launched by Drachkovitch last year with the aim of offering a “unique blend of strategic guidance, development expertise and industry insights to help navigate the ever-evolving media landscape.”
Drachkovitch serves as founder and MD of the London-based Dream Bay Entertainment, which is across film and TV production, literary and talent management, and media advisory services.
He exited his UK-based role as original series development executive at Amazon Studios (now Amazon MGM Studios) in December 2022, having worked on shows including Ten Percent and Three Pines.
During his seven years at the company, he also helped to launch Amazon’s first Indian slate and oversaw the development of titles including The Family Man and Comicstaan.
Hafford, meanwhile, is co-founder at Dream Bay and heads up the talent management side of the business. He was previously an agent at CAA (Creative Arts Agency), where his clients included Dreaming Whilst Black creator and actor Adjani Salmon, and Squid Game’s Anupam Tripathi.
“Teaming up with Jason marks a pivotal moment for DBE, embodying our ethos of ‘global reach, local expertise,” said Drachkovitch. “Our partnership merges extensive experience in creative development and talent representation, uniquely positioning us for dynamic growth and innovation for projects and clients alike.”
