eOne exec Blossom Lefcourt joins Universal Studio Group
Entertainment One’s former EVP of global business & legal affairs, Blossom Lefcourt, has joined universal Studio Group (USG).
Lefcourt becomes global head of business affairs at USG, which is home to Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios and Universal Television Alternative Studio.
She will work across the divisions’ output, which ranges from Law & Order and Hacks to We Are Lady Parts and Hollywood Game Night.
Lefcourt, who replaces Masami Yamamoto after she departed in November, previously oversaw shows including Yellowjackets and Paramount+ drama A Gentleman In Moscow during her time at eOne, which was recently acquired by Lionsgate.
Before that she was EVP of business and legal affairs at ViacomCBS, leading all development and production units for its youth and entertainment offerings such as Comedy Central and MTV.
USG chairman Pearlena Igbokwe said in a memo to staff that Lefcourt had “the technical expertise, deep industry knowledge and collaborative approach needed to head our global team and support all of USG’s diverse business needs across our four studios.”
