Factual firm The Great Courses Studio appoints West One Int’l as global distribution agent

Newly launched US prodco The Great Courses Studios has appointed UK-based West One International to distribute its library of factual programming worldwide.

The Great Courses Studios was founded earlier this year to spearhead the global expansion US factual educational brand The Great Courses.

The studio is focused on creating content for the global TV market at its in-house production facility, with titles including Reversing The Climate Disaster, a feature-length documentary inspired by Bill Gates’ best-selling book; Rome: Rise Of Empire featuring Darius Arya; and True Crime: Killer Cases.

The agreement sees West One picking up worldwide (excluding North America) TV broadcast rights to the firm’s content, with select titles making their debut at MIPTV 2024.
