Apple TV+ to adapt ‘Neuromancer’

Apple TV+ has announced an adaptation of William Gibson’s science fiction novel Neuromancer.

It is to be adapted for TV by Graham Roland and JD Dillard and will be produced by Skydance Television, Anonymous Content and DreamCrew Entertainment.

The 10-part series will follow a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly, an assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.

NBC orders ‘The Hunting Party’

NBC in the US has ordered crime procedural The Hunting Party.

The series follows a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers in the country – all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.

Universal Television is the studio, while JJ Bailey and Jake Coburn will serve as co-showrunners.
