Jetpack Distribution picks up sales rights to Particle6 kids show ‘Look See Wow!’
Jetpack Distribution has picked up global sales rights (excluding the UK) to Sky Kids series Look See Wow!
Produced by UK indie Particle6 Productions, the 26 x 5-minute series has been made using ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response), a technique which creates auditory and visual stimuli to promote feelings of relaxation, calm and well-being.
Particle6 worked with a special needs consultant to ensure children with special needs could fully engage and interact with the show’s themes and activities. Every episode is themed around a different toddler obsession, with topics ranging from items such as boats and buildings to more sensory experiences like ‘sticky’ and ‘shiny’.
Gillian Calvert Ridge, Jetpack Distribution’s global distribution director, said: “It is a beautifully crafted, well-researched and innovative pre-school title using mesmerising ASMR, delivering something very different for toddlers and parents. With its universal themes and inherent inclusive nature, we are confident that Look See Wow! will readily inspire children – and buyers – around the world.”
Particle6 was launched in 2015 by Eline van der Velden and is also behind titles such as Gender Bias Riddle and Putting It Out There for BBC Three.
Jetpack Distribution was founded in 2014 and other kids shows on its slate include it Panda Aand Kiwi, Moley, Clangers, Chuggington, The Sisters, Mechamato, Talking Tom And Friends, Yoko, Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed and Kung Fu Pork Choppers.
