Blue Ant Studios hires Rive Gauche’s Marine Ksadzhikyan amid US deals

Blue Ant Studios has hired Rive Gauche’s Marine Ksadzhikyan as VP of content sales, with her appointment coming alongside a slew of US deals.

Based in Los Angeles, Ksadzhikyan reports to Bryan Gabourie, SVP of international sales and partnerships, and will be tasked with finding further ways to grow the business in the US by securing deals for both owned series and third-party programming.

Ksadzhikyan joins Blue Ant Studios from Rive Gauche Television, where she spent almost 14 years, in a variety of positions, most latterly as EVP of sales & operations.

Prior to that she held roles at AfterShock Media and Rocket Rights, and spent eight years at GRB Entertainment, including as director of international sales.

“Marine’s vast knowledge, robust experience and deep relationships with US and global partners will play a critical role in the continued growth of Blue Ant in the US market,” said Gabourie, SVP

“Her appointment expands our advantage in the territory considerably and will further increase our momentum coming out of a strong 2023 built upon a diverse array of new partnerships and continued collaboration with key platforms.”

Ksadzhikyan’s appointment comes as Blue Ant Studios has secured a raft of US deals, including a slate of history programs to BBC Select with titles such as Bettany Hughes’ Grand Tour: From Paris To Rome from Sandstone Global; Who Sank The Titanic from Pioneer Productions & Handel Productions and Curse Of The Ancients from Barcroft Studios.

Meanwhile, A+E Networks will co-commission the fourth season of Lakefront Luxury from Nikki Ray Media; and QVC+ picked up a block of culinary programming featuring celebrity chef David Rocco.

Additionally, the company has made sales to multi-platform partners such as Aeroverse Media, EarthX Media, Curiosity Inc., True Royalty TV and Buddi SVOD.
