Tommy Bulfin & Kim Varvell’s Conker Pictures hires DNA Films alum Nick Bedingfield
Conker Pictures, the UK prodco launched last year by ex-BBC commissioner Tommy Bulfin and former Apple TV exec Kim Varvell, has appointed Scott Free and DNA Films alum Nick Bedingfield to work across its development slate.
Bedingfield started his career at Scott Free before moving to DNA Films in 2019, where he was promoted to development executive in 2021 and oversaw projects for the BBC, FX, Netflix, Searchlight, MGM and Film4.
He is joined at Banijay-backed Conker by Sanaya Buhariwala-Collins, who becomes development assistant. She most recently worked at 42 as assistant to head of TV.
Bedingfield and Buhariwala-Collins, who report into joint MDs Bulfin and Varvell, are tasked with forging ties with writers and talent to fuel the company’s development slate.
