News round-up: HBO’s ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ to end; Film.UA’s copro chief exits
HBO’s ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ to end
HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm is to end after its upcoming 12th season.
The show, which will start airing on Warner Bros. Discovery streamer Max its final 10-part season on 4 February in the US, was created by Larry David, who also stars, and premiered in 2000.
It features David as a fictionalised version of himself, with the 12th season set to see the returns of Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman.
“As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character,” said David.
