Critical Content appoints Zodiak & Fremantle alum Stéfanie Gelinas to head up formats & development

Ginny & Georgia and Sly producer Critical Content has appointed Zodiak Americas alum Stéfanie Gelinas as EVP of global formats & development.

Based out of the company’s Los Angeles headquarters, Gelinas reports directly to Critical Content president Jenny Daly.

In her new role, Gelinas will look to grow the company’s relationships outside of the US, as well as securing formats, co-production partnerships and first look deals.

Gelinas previously served as a long-time consultant at Critical Content, helping adapt third -party IP into formats such as Survive The Raft for Discovery, Immortal Songs for The CW and Number 1 Chicken for YouTube.

She also ran her own independent consultant agency and served as SVP of Zodiak Americas, a division of Zodiak Entertainment, where she headed development efforts, and as managing director of Talpa USA, where she launched its US headquarters.

Gelinas was also VP of development & strategy at Fremantle Media North America and creative director & head of development at Endemol Germany.
