Studio Lambert’s drama head Sue Hogg to step down, as Tim Harcourt named prodco’s creative chief

All3Media’s Studio Lambert has rejigged its senior team, with drama chief Sue Hogg stepping back from her full-time role to become a creative consultant.

Hogg founded Studio Lambert’s drama department in 2015 and has worked on shows such as Three Girls, The Nest and sci-fi series The Feed for Amazon Prime.

She will now work on individual projects, with Maddie Sinclair stepping up to become creative director of scripted.

Sinclair is executive producing Studio Lambert’s BBC comedy drama Boarders, alongside Hogg and creator/writer, Daniel Lawrence Taylor.

The Traitors prodco has also promoted Tim Harcourt, who has been creative director since 2014, to become chief creative officer having overseen unscripted for nearly a decade. He has been responsible for shows including Race Across the World for the BBC and Netlix’s The Circle.

Mike Cotton, who was deputy creative director, becomes creative director for unscripted, and continues to oversee The Traitors for BBC and NBC/Peacock, as well as Gogglebox for Channel 4

“Tim is an outstanding creative leader and has been my partner in the business since 2020,” said Studio Lambert CEO, Stephen Lambert. “He and I are delighted Mike and Maddie are taking on creative director roles, something which reflects the responsibility and creative work they have been doing for some time now.

“We are also very grateful to Sue for establishing us as a producer of high-quality drama programmes and we are very glad she will continue her relationship with our company.”

Studio Lambert’s slate includes Squid Game: The Challenge, which was extended into a second season by Netflix last week.
