French production firm Satisfaction Group has partnered with former Mediacrest executive director Daniel Domenjó to launch a new Iberian arm.

Domenjó will serve as CEO at Satisfaction Iberia, which will develop and produce chiefly unscripted content with a focus on the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American markets.

The new label will sit alongside Satisfaction Group companies including Satisfaction, Ah! Production, La Grosse Équipe, Satisfy, Starling, Enibas Productions and Ellimac Productions. The group is behind titles including unscripted shows District Z, Messmer: Le Record Du Monde and Tahiti Quest, as well as scripted titles like Hollywood Girls, Influences and Water Wars.

Satisfaction chief Arthur Essebag commented: “Following our recent partnerships with Talpa, Fulwell 73 and Yes Yes Media, we continue to strategically expand our international presence with Satisfaction Iberia to bring new programmes to the screen.”

Domenjó added: “With the launch of Satisfaction Iberia, which will focus on every kind of genre, we take a step forward in the international consolidation of such a ground-breaking group. Furthermore, having the possibility of learning and growing by Arthur’s side is simply a challenge that is just as exciting as it is inspiring.”
