Brinkworth Productions recruits BBCS & Vice alum Yonni Usiskin to head global unscripted
London-based factual indie Brinkworth Productions has hired BBC Studios and Vice alum Yonni Usiskin as head of global unscripted.
In the newly created position, Usiskin will spearhead the company’s push into premium documentaries and unscripted series for US and international audiences.
Brinkworth Productions is behind titles such as Accused: Guilty Or Innocent? for A&E, The Princes In The Tower: The New Evidence for Channel 4 and Chloe Madeley: A Family Life for ITV Be.
Usiskin, meanwhile, previously led a recently formed team at BBC Studios, that was set up in July 2022 with a focus on the international documentary market.
Prior to that, he spent more than seven years at Vice, with roles at both Vice News and Viceland in the UK and US as VP of programming, before helping to launch Vice Studios UK, where he was appointed as creative director in 2018.
Usiskin has served as executive producer on shows including MH370: The Lost Flight for Paramount+, Cocaine: Britain’s Epidemic for Channel 5 and Inside the Brexit Storm for BBC Two.
