The BBC has acquired supernatural drama Mayfair Witches from AMC Networks and extended its Vladimir Putin factual series.

Mayfair Witches is based on the novels by Anne Rice and will air on BBC Two and be available via iPlayer.

The show follows on from Interview With The Vampire, also made by AMC and picked up by BBC Two.

In related news, the UK channel has ordered two additional episodes of its critically acclaimed documentary series Putin Vs The West.
