POP & Family Channel board ‘Shasha & Milo’

POP In the UK and WildBrain’s Family Channel in Canada have acquired upcoming CGI animation Shasha & Milo.

The series from Banijay Kids & Family’s Zodiak Kids & Family France and Pingo Entertainment is a 25 x 22-minute series (plus 12 x 2-minute shorts) centred around two 12-year-olds, Shasha and Milo, as they juggle everyday life, alongside their secret roles as the Crescent Island Guardians.

Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America, Tencent in China and EBS in Korea have previously been confirmed to broadcast the upcoming series, which is distributed by Zodiak Kids & Family Distribution.

GRB Media Ranch deals

Seven Network in Australia, MBC in the Middle East, South Korea’s JCG and Multicanal Iberia have acquired a slew of programming following deals with GRB Media Ranch.

Seven Network acquired three seasons of true-crime docuseries On The Case, while MBC took Showdown Of The Unbeatables.

JCG acquired three related titles, including Icons Unearthed: Fast & Furious, Icons Unearthed: Star Wars and Icons Unearthed: Marvel, the latter of which was also picked up by Multicanal Iberia.

Isolated

OneGate gets ‘Isolated’

OneGate Media has secured worldwide distribution rights for the drama series, Isolated.

Produced by Oskari Huttu, head of drama at Lucy Loves Drama, alongside Marko Antila and Mikko Räisänen, the 8 x 45-minute series is set on Utö Island, where the residents are suddenly and mysteriously shut off from the outside world.

Tania Reichert-Facilides, MD OneGate Media said that Lucy Loves Drama “consistently create outstanding and entertaining content for wide audiences, and we’re pleased to introduce Isolated as part of our slate at MIPCOM this year”.
