GoQuest Media hires Indiacast alum Bhavishya Rao to head int’l sales & licensing

Indian distributor GoQuest Media has appointed Bhavishya Rao as head of international licensing and distribution.

Joining with immediate effect, Rao will be responsible for global licensing and distribution activities for the company, reporting to founders Vivek Lath and Jimmy George.

Rao previously worked at Pocket FM, an audio OTT start-up, where she specialised in script licensing.

Prior to that, she was at Indiacast Media Distribution, a joint venture between Viacom 18 and TV 18, where she managed the distribution of Indian TV series and films.

Headquartered in Mumbai, with additional offices in the UK and Vietnam and a local sales presence in Istanbul and the CEE, GoQuest’s catalogue includes titles such as Serbian drama Secrets Of The Grapevine, Polish series Crazy In Love and Estonian show Still Waters.
