ITV Studios lands Banijay, Beyond alums as Beth Hart among execs upped in Oz rejig

Beth Hart

ITV Studios in Australia has restructured its senior creative and production team, with Beth Hart and Alex Mavroidakis among those receiving new roles.

Hart moves from head of content to become chief content officer with an expanded remit that includes oversight of the creative process across the entire production slate, including I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Love Island and Inside Sydney Airport.

She continues to report to CEO & MD David Mott.

Mavroidakis, meanwhile, has been upped from supervising executive producer to creative director and reports to Hart, while former Banijay Endemol Shine Australia Keely Sonntag has been appointed as head of unscripted and Evan Wilkes becomes unscripted executive.

Wilkes previously worked at Beyond Productions, Eureka Productions and Seven Studios, as well as being executive producer on Luxe Listings Sydney, Byron Baes and My Kitchen Rules.

Both Keely and Evan will work across ITVS Australia’s unscripted production slate.

Other changes see head of production Donna Foster promoted to director of production, with Sarah Roberts – who returns to ITV Studios following a stint as head of production at Banijay Endemol Shine Australia – taking up Foster’s former remit.

The changes come a month after ITVS’s head of factual & reality in Australia, Ben Ulm, revealed he would be leaving the company after almost a decade.
