Pearl served as commissioning editor of unscripted for Paramount+ and Channel 5 in the UK, where his credits include credits include Neverland: Michael Jackson & Me and the series Our Yorkshire Farm.

He joins Lion TV following the exit of former creative director Tom Watt-Smith in April, who moved to Nutopia to serve as creative director of formats & special projects.
Richard Bradley, co-founder and CCO of Lion Television said: Pealr’s “track record in unscripted programming is outstanding and he has amazing editorial and creative judgement.”
Joint MDs of Lime Pictures and Lion Television, Kate Little and Claire Poyser, added: “We are so excited Daniel is joining Lion TV. He is a hugely talented, admired and respected creative with a wealth of both commissioning and producing experience. We very much look forward to seeing the new collaboration with Richard and the team.”
