Plimsoll hires Pioneer alum Elly Steinberg to oversee history & science

ITV Studios-owned factual producer Plimsoll has appointed former Pioneer Productions exec Elly Steinberg to lead its history and science output.

Steinberg becomes head of development for history & science at the Bristol-based producer and reports to Martha Holmes, chief creative officer for natural history and science.

She will work across development with head of fact ent Becky Morison and Sizzle Team Group creative director Ged Mansfield.

Steinberg previously worked across development in the UK and US for Pioneer, having also worked at Humble Bee Films and Icon Films.

Plimsoll has been expanding its slate of late, recently striking a partnership with US-based horror producer Blumhouse that will see the two companies working together on factual show, Nightmares Of Nature.
