APC’s Jade Armor goes global

Broadcasters around the world have snagged rights to APC Kids’ show, Jade Armor.

New deals for the 26 x 26-minute series include: Téléquébec (Canada); WildBrain (Canada); RTBF (Belgium), and DR (Denmark). The martial arts action-comedy series, aimed at 6-10 year olds is currently airing on Cartoon Network (EMEA), France Télévisions (France), Super RTL (Germany); ABC (Australia), and SRC (Canada).

The show is produced by TeamTO in partnership with France Télévisions and Super RTL.

BBC & TV3 snag Theodosia 

The BBC and TV3 in Spain are among buyers of live action series Theodosia, following a raft of deals struck by distributor Federation Kids & Family and German distributor/prodco ZDF Studios.

The show, which is produced by Cottonwood Media in co-production with ZDF and ZDF Studios, is based on author Robin L. LaFevers’ books and is set against the backdrop of Edwardian London and Egypt.

The BBC has pre-bought the upcoming second season, while TV3 (Catalonia) has acquired S1 and S2.

Rai (Italy), BYUtv (US), RTL Nederland (for its SVOD service Videoland), and AMC Networks International (Spain) have all stepped in for S1, as have LRT (Lithuania), MTVA (Hungary), YLE (Finland), and DR TV (Denmark).
