NATPE Global adds Amazon Studios, ViX & Warner Bros. Discovery execs to line-up
NATPE Global organiser Brunico has added execs from Amazon Studios, TelevisaUnivision and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) to the line-up for its Miami event.
Mariano Cesar, WBD’s head of general entertainment in Lat Am & US Hispanic will join Telemundo Enterprises’ president of entertainment, Augusto Rovegno, SVP of content at TelevisaUnivision’s Vix and Francisco Morales, Amazon Studios’ head of content strategy & acquisitions in Latin America, on a panel exploring Spanish-language content.
Izzet Pinto, founder & CEO at Global Agency, has also been confirmed, while Chris Williams, founder and CEO at kids studio pocket.watch, will take part in a fireside chat.
Claire Macdonald, executive director at NATPE Global, said the execs would “provide practical intel and inform our audience on emerging trends they can apply to their business strategies.”
NATPE Global will take place 16-18 January at the InterContinental Miami.
The event, which runs a week before Content Americas on 23-25 January, aims to create a “networking-first” environment that will connect buyers and sellers of projects in development, as well as those with catalogue programming.
Brunico acquired NATPE Global (fka NATPE Miami) in January after the National Association of Television Programming Executives (NATPE) filed for bankruptcy.
