Max preps adventure reality show ‘Tracked’, marking first New Zealand show on US streamer
Max in the US has picked up Great Southern Television’s adventure reality show Tracked, marking what is believed to be the first New Zealand-based show to air become available on the streamer.
Tracked sees eight teams attempting to reach an evacuation zone out of the New Zealand wilderness before they are caught by an elite team of military trackers, with the winners snagging a $100,000 jackpot.
The format is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ and debuted on Three, with the show set to become available on Max in the US from 25 August.
Vicki Keogh, senior director of production at WBD ANZ, said: “Tracked is a fantastic success story for the New Zealand production community having already secured distribution across 16 Warner Bros. Discovery territories.
“Max picking it up is a further endorsement of this incredible format and the talented team at Great Southern Television.”
