Exclusive: Joyn orders German version of Banijay’s ‘Party Workers’

German streaming platform Joyn has commissioned the first international adaptation of Banijay’s reality docu-soap format Party Workers, TBI can reveal.

Produced by Banijay Productions Germany, the German iteration is being filmed in Majorca, Spain.

Originally a Banijay Productions France show for W9, Party Workers documents the experiences of a group of young people as they travel to party hot spots where they must hold down jobs, take part in challenges and adapt to the culture.

The series has broadcast more than 20 series over a decade in France, with the show set in locations such as Ibiza, Las Vegas, Thailand and Australia.

Banijay Productions Germany is behind unscripted titles such as Temptation Island, Trash Or Treasure and Battle Of The Reality Stars. The company also includes label Doc.Banijay, which specialises in sports documentares.
