Banijay Italia partners with Marco Belardi’s Greenboo Production

Banijay Italia has partnered with Greenboo Production, the Italian label founded by The Lions Of Sicily producer Marco Berlardi last year.

Launched in 2022, the Rome-based firm produces scripted series, documentaries and films for linear, streamers and cinema.

Belardi’s recent credits include A Casa Tutti Bene, a series by Gabriel Muccino, inspired by his 2018 film of the same name, which was filmed last year, and The Lions Of Sicily, which is coming up for Disney+.

Under the agreement, Banijay Italia and Greenboo will look to further build growth and audiences, both locally and internationally.

Paolo Bassetti, president and country manager of Banijay Italia, said that Greenboo is “a promising new venture, which, thanks to the experience of its founder, Marco, has already launched numerous high-profile projects with great writing and directing talent attached.
