China’s Youku acquires pre-school animation package from Dandelooo

Chinese streaming platform Youku has picked up a slew of animated pre-school series following a package deal with French production and distribution firm Dandelooo.

The service has acquired more than 420 episodes in total for its children’s channel Youku Kids, including titles such as Hungry Bear Tales, Our Piggy, Kiwi, Kosmix, Cubs, and Pompon Little Bear, with the deal struck by Dandelooo’s international sales & acquisitions manager Melissa Vega.

Programmes in the deal include the preschool series Hungry Bear Tales, Our Piggy, Kiwi, Kosmix, Cubs, and Pompon Little Bear.
