M6 & Play4 capture ‘The Perfect Picture’ as ITVS format expands to France & Belgium
French broadcaster M6 and Play4 in Belgium have both picked up local versions of ITV Studios photography competition format The Perfect Picture.
ITV Studios France will produce the M6 version to debut in the fall, while DOK1Media is adapting for Play4 to launch next year, with these orders taking the format to five international editions in total.
The show originated as Het Perfecte Plaatje on RTL 4 in the Netherlands, where an eighth season is currently in production at ITV Studios Netherlands and a spin-off show, The Perfect Picture On The Road, aired its final episode last week.
A second season for South Africa is also in production for ETV and one season has aired on TVN7 in Poland.
The Perfect Picture follows ten celebrities with a passion for photography as they compete against each other to show they have what it takes to step away from the spotlight and move behind the camera.
The celebrities must use their technical and creative skills to show they can take the perfect picture during remarkable shoots varying from landscape to fashion and from street to sports.
“We are thrilled to announce The Perfect Picture in France and Belgium. Its combination of celebrity combined with the universal love for photography, has proved a winning and topical formula for today’s audience.” said Ruth Berry, managing director, global partnerships, ITV Studios.
